Caf Lib Recipes


Regular: serve black or with milk and sugar just like coffee
Latte: mix to equal amounts of boiling water and warm milk
Igloo: serve cold with a scoop of ice cream
Cappuccino: add whipped cream and a dash of cinnamon to hot Caf-Lib
Caf-Lib tea: can be enjoyed the same way as regular tea

Other suggestions
“My favourite way to make Caf-Lib “coffee” is to use milk instead of water. I put a spoonful of Caf-Lib into a mug, add a teaspoon or two of Splenda and stir to mix. Gradually stir in milk and keep stirringĀ  until the mug is full to eliminate the lumps. Put into the microwave to heat to 170 degrees on 70% power. I like to have this drink before I go to bed – it helps me sleep.”

Maggie’s Caf-Lib Cake
5 eggs (medium size)
2 cups of sugar (white sugar)
1 cup of milk
1 cup of vegetable oil
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon baking powder
3 cups of flour
1 lemon zest
2 tablespoons of CAF-LIB dissolved in 2 tablespoon of hot water

  • Beat the eggs and sugar on high speed for 5 minutes, add milk and oil
  • Mix the flour, baking powder, vanilla, lemon zest and blend with the mixture
  • Grease baking dish and pour half of the mixture
  • Add the dissolved CAF-LIB to the rest of the mixture and mix it well
  • Pour the CAF-LIB mixture on top of the white mixture
  • With a fork mix it clockwise until it looks like marble
  • Bake at 350Ā¼ for 1 hour 15 minutes
